BEHIND THE SCENE OF AN INDOOR FASHION SHOOT: SHOOTING WITH COSMAS PETER

Welcome back guys, I thought this would be cool adding a photo shoot page on my blog as you all know i am no model but I am for sure a photo maniac. So I thought well, why not share, I hope you guys can get inspired or get some ideas..

I chose to start with my most recent shoot, I did with Cosmas Peter, a very talented photographer, you can check his Instagram handle @cp1_visuals, he and his team welcomed me with open arms and were super friendly with me. Especially when it was such a short notice.

First you should know, photo shoots are a lot more stressful and hectic than they look, the pictures of course are always worth the while but everything before that needs a lot of patience and understanding.

I remember this day for me was perfect until my make up artist blew my make up, it was so not what i wanted, she had my eyelash on top of my eyelids in a very awkward way, she had to do and undo my make up at least three times, thank God i know a bit about make up as she did not contour me whatsoever and I had to constantly remind her what to do.

Finally i was pissed off enough and just decided to walk out of the room and fix it where i could, i was disappointed because this is one of the biggest make up studios that I will not say which one for now. There is no point of trash talk. Any who, I was late for my shoot and I found other people in my scheduled time, I was super off mood and was on the edge of canceling the shoot, then i realized...That's it, that is exactly what shoots are about, stress, panic, overthinking but non of that matters if you do what you love. Plus it would truly not be fair for all the team that was ready to work with me. It would have simply been unprofessional.

End of the day, I found a small salon right out of the studio and i said well, it couldn't get any worse, i went to fix my lashes to position and believe me when i say this poor guy fixed my make up, he patched things up for me and didn't charge me a single cent for it. Safe to say he felt my pain 😅, it wasn't Louse Harrison level, ok i will explain, she is my very good friend and one of my all time favorite MUA (make up artist) like my face just feels safe with her hands, check out her work @louise__harrison

Okay, back to the point, eventually, i got my make up at least better than it was before, in the meantime, my assistant started helping with ironing my clothes and I was finally set to start shooting and the fun begun.

For this shoot, we made it an indoor studio shoot.. the concept was to play with different backgrounds...
But like I said, shoots aren't as easy as they suggest in the final pictures, we had to try variety of light settings and positioning to get the best angle, lighting and effect. A lot of trying and don't get me wrong I am not complaining, this is the part i sort of love most. Because I can use this time to play and take a lot of boomerang videos for my Instagram and hear my photographer cursing me for too much play 😂

Here is a little bit of the behind the scene...

The final product was more than I expected, I loved every minute spent in the studio.

Here are some pictures for the end product, enjoy!

Once again, thanks for stopping by my blog guys.. see you next time.

With love

Stacy💕
