I decided to give myself a challenge, one that faces us all .. buying something cheap? and wondering how on earth do we not let the other person walking next to us notice what we are wearing is a little too cheap?
Well, first a good wash, ironing and spray will kill off the obvious smell of "mtumba" (thrift)
You can purchase from our store SAGULA , already cleaned and ironed clothes for ridiculously cheap prices

I picked one shirt from our store, one that people would normally perceive as boring or why should i buy that? and decided to give it a little spin.
Check it...
Look one: One Sided
So for look one, i had the whole shirt tucked in and buttoned all the way up except for the last top three buttons.
Yes, this style is actually pretty common but chic especially with everyone into the off shoulder style.
I feel like especially for the Tanzanian climate and way of thinking, being so many people feel the need to tell girls what to wear and how to wear while your getting an extra class of tradition and culture, which again i cannot stress enough about how our tradition and culture if anything goes against the point everyone is trying to ran in every girl's mind, talk to me about decency and maybe we will talk but don't start off with a talk about culture.
Okay! sorry, i always get lost in this topic but my point is, this look is perfect for hot weather as is in Tanzania.
Look Two: Basically the same thing but better.
If you are a little more daring and into a #diy off shoulder trend, this one is definitely for you. Don't listen to all those guys telling you what you can and cannot wear, and if that guy is your lover... that is even worse!
OKAY OKAY SORRY! Drifted again there for a second..
Again, my point is.. this is even better for this drought/ hot / heat wave weather.
Let your shoulders breathe a little!
And if you have an issue with excessive armpit sweating, this here is your girl!
Look three: Let's cover and show!

So, you want to be more daring yet give a sense of "uhhh.. what is she up to next? "
What i did here was a bit of a vise-versa from the first three looks, instead of undoing the top three buttons we undo the bottom buttons. I can't really tell you the number of buttons because it definitely depends on how long your shirt is but just undo enough to get enough space to tie the bottom of the shirt.
And That Is How You Can Make An 8,000/= Shirt Look Expensive!
It's all about the styling!
